From the period armchair to the contemporary seat, our know-how enables us to design and restore an infinite range of armchairs, chairs and sofas of all styles, for all interiors. Thanks to their technical knowledge, our upholsterers can restore all types of seats – the “Voltaire” upright armchair, the “bergère” or wing armchair, the “fauteuil crapaud”, the “cabriolet” armchair and other emblematic styles of furniture. Their expertise enables them to master the characteristics of each period: Louis XV, Louis XVI, Empire, Regency, and even the most recent trends.

For us, restoring period seats involves the use of traditional upholstery techniques, for example padding and tensioning the springs to ensure that the correct height is obtained. Some operations, such as the use of horsehair or coir, require great dexterity. We value quality natural materials such as animal or vegetal hair, hemp rope, hessian, cotton and linen thread. For modern seats, our upholsterers use modern materials.

Studded, braided, piped, padded … whatever the esthetics of your furniture, we guarantee a precise and careful finish, for a high-end result.

Seats can be covered in a variety of fabrics, in plain, printed or woven patterns. Modern weaving methods make it possible to upholster period furniture so that it goes through the ages to become timeless. Custom-furniture

From the initial design to bespoke sofas, armchairs and banquettes, our workshop can accompany you in the confection of your made-to-measure furniture.

The creation of custom-made seats makes it possible to go beyond the norm, in order to make furniture in personalized shapes and sizes for complete comfort and in a unique design. Since each creation is different, it necessitates an accurate study by means of a 3D drawing in order to determine the ideal proportions of the structure.

With our know-how and wood-cutting equipment, we are able to efficiently carry out all the operations needed to manufacture a modern framework for bespoke seats.

The combination of a seat bottom with suspended padding, topped with a feather cushion, is probably still the best solution for flexibility and comfort. For seat cushions with a highly resilient foam core, we suggest making them with feather-filled quilting.

Our collaboration with the various fabric manufacturers offers an infinite choice of colors and combinations of natural or synthetic materials – silk, cotton velvet, printed fabrics, damask, wool, cotton…
